When I upgraded to my Blade Cx3, I "sold" my Venom Kodiak Heli to my 11yr old son. It wasn't 24 hours that it stopped charging. We sent an email to Venom and they were great - they shipped out a new charger and a new control unit (not knowing which was bad). It turned out to be the charger, but only 2 days after charging and flying a few times it started spinning out of control. Of course this was on the day we decided we were going to post our first RCAviationSource flight video on our YouTube Channel. Anyways, I've replaced the control unit and have searched for a hair or anything that would slow the upper rotor blade - but no luck. My next step is to dismantle the shaft and be sure no strings or hairs are caught inside. If that doesn't resolve the uncontrolled spinning, I'm going to order new motors. I've been in touch with Venom for any additional advice, but just thought I'd ask if anyone has any thoughts?
